**Role Purpose**:

- Building and dissembling forms for concrete curbs, sidewalks, driveways, retaining walls, footing, steps, etc.
- Participate in reading & setting grades
- Placement of reinforcing steel & mesh as required
- Use of hand floats, trowels, brooms, and edge tools to create a uniform finished product
- Job-site preparation as required
- Pour and spread concrete
- Safe operation, cleaning, and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Able and willing to work with concrete vibrators, screeds, etc.

**Position Requirements**:

- One year of concrete experience is required.
- Minimum one (1) year general construction experience is preferred.
- Must be able to tie rebar/steel, build concrete forms and mix/pour concrete.
- Ability to use all types of hand tools
