**Overview**

With more than 350 employees and over 75 years of experience, the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is Canada’s second largest research and technology organization. We help clients from across the world solve complex technology challenges, seize new opportunities, and reduce their environmental impact. SRC’s Nuclear and Organizational Effectiveness divisions are looking for an Executive Coordinator/Administrator, respectively. This role will provide administrative and coordination support to the Vice-President (VP) and across each division with a focus on timely and effective follow-up on decisions and implementing assigned projects.

SRC’S Nuclear division is pursuing the licensing and demonstration of an eVinci microreactor - a first-of-a-kind project in Saskatchewan. As the primary organization responsible for microreactor development in province, SRC is working to accelerate adoption of microreactors safely and consistently to support local industries and communities.

SRC’s Organizational Effectiveness division supports the council in the following areas: Information Technology, Human Resources, Facilities and Security, and Health, Safety, Environment and Risk.

**Accountabilities**
- Act as the first contact for the VP’s office, overseeing communications to and from the VP’s office as required and dealing with a broad range of issues and inquiries across the division and SRC
- Provide efficient administrative support to the VP, including scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, obtain and organize information for use in meetings, record meeting minutes, and track and follow through action items as they relate to deliverables
- Provide administrative support to the business units and projects in the division including research, analysis, recommendations, prepare reports and maintain the records management system
- Support budgeting and actual expense tracking for the division, perform purchase card reconciliation and enter data into the purchasing requisition and contracts management systems
- Edit, proof and format letters, memos, reports, proposals and presentations
- Exercise discretion, professionalism, diplomacy and good judgment in coordinating meetings and request, and when handling confidential and sensitive information

**Qualifications**
- A diploma or certificate in office administration
- Minimum of five years of administrative experience, preferably in a role providing support to senior management
- Project documentation tracking experience is an asset

**Skills**
- Strong communication skills required to interact efficiently and professionally with employees across the council, including senior management
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to manage competing interests toward satisfactory outcomes
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a continuously changing environment with frequent interruptions
- Self-motivated with good decision making and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft SharePoint
- Familiarity with data management systems and financial acumen are considered assets
