Yard Coordinator

Brampton, Canada Dependable Truck & Tank Ltd Full time

We are currently looking to hire a Yard Coordinator for our manufacturing facility in Brampton.

**Responsibilities**:

- Checking in trucks and verifying paperwork upon delivery
- Inspections on trucks to ensure no damage or mechanical issues
- Moving trucks and equipment around to ensure orderly organization and accessibility
- Jump starting/boosting trucks when needed
- Aiding company tradesmen during the manufacturing process when needed
- Clean building floors by sweeping and tiding up truck bays.
- Organizing, help shipping and receiving put away material, parts, shop tools, machines, etc.
- Gather and empty trash into bins outside.
- Move equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using fork lifts
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.

**Requirements**:

- Valid G license is required. A DZ license is considered a strong asset
- Previous forklift experience is an asset
- Working in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Read, write and speak English fluently
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly.
- Must have great attention to detail.
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Willing to learn and can-do attitude, meticulous, team player, flexible and quick learner.
