Electrical Estimator/project Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical construction projects from start to finish. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent project management abilities, and a deep understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan, organize, and manage electrical construction projects
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Develop project schedules and budgets
- Conduct construction estimating and pricing
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Oversee the work of subcontractors and ensure quality control
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship and address any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with the project team to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes
- Proven experience in project management within the electrical industry
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience and Licensing:
- Minimum 2-5 years real world experience as an electrical estimator/project manager.
- MUST possess 309A Electrician (Construction and Maintenance) certification.
- Clean driving record.
