**Regional Property Manager, Destaron Property Management (Burlington)**

As a Regional Property Manager, you will serve an integral role coordinating all building operations of all our residential apartment suites reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations. With 7 or more years of related experience, you have a track record of being able to increase efficiency, reduce operating costs while still maintaining or improving customer service.

**Your Responsiblities**:

- You will be responsible for the physical, financial, administrative and staff/tenant relations management which will include a team of superintendents and maintenance staff.
- Travel within the Burlington - Mississauga corridor to visit each property, ensuring you allocate your time between the Burlington head office and the properties to balance the oversight of building cleanliness and physical maintenance with the administrative responsibilities.
- Analyze market conditions and create strategies to address them to ensure low vacancy rates. Review weekly vacancy reports and focus on reducing vacancies.
- Ensure buildings are maintained to company standards and staff are performing duties in a professional manner. Support and train site-level staff.
- Review recommended equipment and renovation needs, define required capital improvements, obtain quotes and ensure that work is completed properly, on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate rent rolls and ensure timely collection of rent in conjunction with superintendents.
- Work with superintendents to ensure residents receive a high level of customer service consistent with Destaron philosophy
- Coordinate after hours emergency responses as needed

**Your Qualifications**:

- Experience as a property manager, with 7 or more years of property management experience
- Strong familiarity with all aspects of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related building maintenance for suite maintenance, suite turnovers and capital improvement projects
- Experience with staff / tenant communications with proven track record of customer service
- Strong computer skills including experience with Yardi, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Access to a vehicle that can be used for work purposes
