General Hog Farmer Laborer

Devereaux Farms is looking to hire a General Hog Farmer Laborer to work at their two barns located just outside to small town of Seaforth, ON. From Farrow to Finish, the successful individual will be responsible to feed, clean and maintain two separate barns along with other agricultural / farm duties as required.

While no Hog Farming Experience is needed, knowledge of the industry is an asset.

There is a chance that housing in the city of Seaforth is available should it be needed.

- Feed inventory
- Handling animals
- Monitoring animal health
- Processing pig litters
- Weaning
- Ensure _Farm Safety & Bio-Security_ procedures are followed
- Maintain livestock performance records
- Maintain quality control and production records
- Recognize and treat certain livestock health problems
- Maintain work records & logs
- Perform general farm duties as needed

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
