**Materials Coordinator**

- The Materials Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the Materials department, including receiving, shipping, shop floor, planning, and all point-of-use locations.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Coordinate materials functions in a cell concept setting within a team environment including materials, manufacturing engineering, production, and quality assurance
- Implement engineering change orders to released jobs.
- Assist in the development, communication and deployment of departmental policies, guidelines, and tools to ensure success in all processes.
- Assist in maintaining the material department budget with indirect labor, overtime, materials supplies, communication devices, and travel.
- Monitor, measure, and meet all material measurements.
- Monitor and reduce negatives to zero, monitor line entry schedule and part status prior to and during the build process.
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy of Live bus records.
- Perform cell audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- 3-5 years’ experience in an inventory control position preferably within a manufacturing setting.
- APICS certification or currently enrolled in APICS programs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret information quickly.
- Exceptional computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience with Oracle would be an asset.
