Nelson Roofing & Sheet Metal Ltd. is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Accounts Payable Clerk to join the Finance team in our Cumberland Branch.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all invoices received throughout the company are processed properly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices.
- Prepare invoices for bi-monthly payables.
- Audit and process credit card statements.
- Fill in for Payroll and Reception when needed.
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience is preferred but will train the right person for the job.
- Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. This position offers dental, vision and extended health care after a 90-day probation period.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
