**Job Summary**
The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, freight cost management, ocean logistics coordination, and small parcel contract negotiations. This role ensures the smooth flow of goods through the supply chain by collaborating with vendors, brokers, and freight forwarders, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee and coordinate the movement of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and seamless delivery processes.
- Lead efforts in negotiating, analyzing, and managing freight costs across various modes of transportation (ocean, air, ground), continuously monitoring spending and implementing cost-saving strategies to meet budgetary targets.
- Manage ocean freight logistics, including vendor selection, route optimization, and compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
- Negotiate and manage contracts and rates with small parcel carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, DHL) to ensure competitive pricing, service reliability, and efficient delivery.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all shipping documentation, collaborating with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with import/export regulations and facilitate timely customs clearance.
- Review, audit, and approve freight invoices and related documents for accuracy and compliance, resolving discrepancies with vendors or service providers as necessary.
- Maintain accurate shipment details in the ERP system, ensuring real-time tracking and reporting of logistics data.
- Collaborate with the procurement team and overseas vendors to resolve issues, ensure product availability, and streamline supply chain operations.
- Generate and present detailed logistics reports, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying cost-saving opportunities, and recommending operational improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements that optimize logistics operations and reduce costs.
- Provide assistance with various administrative tasks and reporting, supporting overall logistics and supply chain operations as needed.

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics management, with a strong focus on inbound and outbound logistics, freight cost control, and international shipping (ocean logistics experience preferred).
- Proven expertise in negotiating small parcel carrier contracts (UPS, FedEx, DHL) and managing freight cost optimization strategies.
- Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis, cost tracking, and report creation.
- Experience with ERP systems for managing shipment tracking, data entry, and reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, suppliers, and third-party service providers.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of managing logistics operations accurately, ensuring mínimal errors and maximum efficiency.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a strong capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A proactive, resourceful approach to identifying and resolving challenges in the logistics process, driving innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve operational goals and enhance supply chain performance.

**Preferred Qualifications Considered a Strong Asset**:

- Experience with freight forwarding and customs brokerage.
- Deep understanding of ocean freight logistics and international trade regulations.
- Familiarity with small parcel shipping technology platforms and digital tools for logistics management.

This role requires an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and highly capable of managing logistics operations efficiently while ensuring cost control and smooth communication across multiple stakeholders.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $110,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
