CUSTODIAN CUPE Competition No. 5812

**Location**: Spring Creek Community School

**Temporary**: Immediately

to June 28, 2024 or return of Incumbent, whichever occurs first

**Hours**: 8.0 hours per day, 12 months per year

**Pay**: $29.58 per hour

Duties &

**Responsibilities**:
General cleaning of schools as assigned by the

General Manager of Operations, which includes lifting of miscellaneous

furniture, changing lights, operation of motorized cleaning equipment,

building security.

**Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 10 plus relevant

courses/workshops and up to and including three (3) months related experience

or an equivalent combination of related training and experience. Relevant

courses/workshops would be the Building Service Worker course. Knowledge of

Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) and Worksafe BC safety

regulations.
