CUSTODIAN CUPE Competition No. 5786

Location:
District - South

Squamish Elementary School

Temporary:
Immediately to June 28,

2024, or return of Incumbent, whichever comes first

Hours: 8 hours per day, 12 months per year

Pay:
$29.58 per hour

Duties &

Responsibilities:

General cleaning of schools as assigned by the General

Manager of Operations, which includes lifting of miscellaneous furniture,

changing lights, operation of motorized cleaning equipment, knowledge of

Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 10 plus relevant

courses/workshops and up to and including three (3) months related experience

or an equivalent combination of related training and experience. Relevant

courses/workshops would be the Building Service Worker course. Knowledge of

Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) and Worksafe BC safety

regulations.
