We are currently seeking a **Customer Service Representative** **professional to join our Langley team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in sales and customer service within the building materials industry.

**Primary Purpose**:
As a **Customer Service Representative**, you will play a key role in supporting our customer service, sales, and merchandising efforts. You will act as a liaison between the warehouse, inside sales, and outside sales teams to ensure smooth operations, while handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and managing administrative tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service & Inside Sales**:

- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Check stock levels, availability, and manage Formica product calls.
- Provide product information to customers and assist in fulfilling orders.
- Support inside and outside sales teams and assist in upselling or cross-selling products and services as needed.
- **Merchandising & Samples Management**:

- Send out samples to clients and process sample orders.
- Order and organize samples to ensure availability for customer needs.
- Maintain and update product displays, ensuring they are visually appealing and accurately reflect current stock.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Process cheque deposits, manage filing, and handle claim management tasks.
- Assist with various administrative duties such as maintaining records, invoicing, and updating contact lists.
- Communicate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Previous experience in **customer service** or **inside sales** is an asset.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail, especially in managing samples and merchandising.
- Proficient in **Microsoft Office** (Word, Excel) and comfortable learning new systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- **Problem-solving** skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A positive attitude and self-motivation to provide excellent customer service and support the sales team.
- Experience in the building materials or construction industry is an asset but not required.

**Schedule**:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (occasional overtime as needed).
