**Location**: Individual must be based in Ottawa or Toronto (Hybrid)

**Salary Range**: $60,000-$70,000

**OVERVIEW**

The Engagement Officer is involved in all aspects of the development and implementation of Public Policy Forum's internal and external communications, as well as marketing strategies. Must be a strong writer and editor in English and French.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support PPF departments’ B to B marketing strategies.
- Support marketing and stakeholder engagement around PPF events.
- Help implement project rollouts.
- Write, edit and publish press releases.
- Help implement a newsletter strategy that includes member communications and outreach to the public.
- Other duties shall be assigned as required.

**EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Communications and/or PR agency experience required.
- Good knowledge of Cision, Mailchimp, WordPress, media monitoring software and other public relation tools.

**SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES**
- Must be engaged with issues, policy and PPF content.
- Must be a strong writer and editor.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- **French Language is mandatory.**:
