**About the co-op/internship program**:
The Home Depot Canada Internship/Co-op Program is a paid 16-week internship, running from May 8 - August 25th, 2023.

The Assortment Planners are Merchant’s trusted advisers and partners in ensuring that we select the best product at the right price. This analytical team provides Merchants with performance insights and high-quality financial reporting to advise on which items to select in store and online.

**Job Summary**:
This unique position is a fantastic way to work with Merchandising leaders and learn multiple categories in a short time. It is a foundational role for any career in retail. In this position, you will develop your analytical, leadership and strategic business skills by providing financial insights, crafting strategic category and assortment plans, advising Merchants on ideal product assortments and partnering with several cross functional teams to flawlessly execute.

**What You Bring to the Role**:

- Currently pursuing a university and/or college education in Business, Retail Management, or a related field of study will be considered a preferred qualification.
- Are driven by results and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with other team members and have excellent communication and influencing skills
- Focus on providing fact-based insights to guide key decisions
- Are strong multi-taskers that can prioritize to meet business objectives
- You are skilled in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize

The successful student will be currently enrolled in a Canadian accredited university or college throughout the period of the Internship/Co-op program. In addition, you must be legally entitled to work in Canada by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work permit.
