**JOB OVERVIEW**
The Sales & Designer Associate is responsible for working with a diverse range of retail clients, to develop aesthetic and functional spaces that meet the client’s individual needs. They must maintain a high level of professionalism, display superior project management skills, product knowledge, and continuously work towards developing working relationships with clients.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**General Duties**
- Greet and welcome customers to the showroom in a friendly and professional manner.
- Actively engage with customers to understand their kitchen cabinet requirements, style preferences, and budget considerations.
- Provide knowledgeable advice and recommendations on kitchen cabinet designs, finishes, and functionalities.
- Offer superior customer service throughout the sales process to create a positive and memorable shopping experience.
- Showcase a wide range of kitchen cabinet products and explain their features and benefits to customers.
- Demonstrate different design options and explain how they can transform the look and functionality of a kitchen space.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate materials, colors, and hardware to match their individual tastes and needs.
- Prepare accurate and detailed price quotes based on customers' chosen designs and specifications.
- Communicate with various departments to the project is executed smoothly and to remedy and issues that arise.
- Clearly communicate pricing information, payment terms, and any applicable promotions or discounts.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are recorded correctly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery.
- Conduct follow-up communications with customers to address any additional questions or concerns.
- Provide after-sales support, including arranging for installation services and addressing any post-installation issues.
- Stay informed about the latest kitchen cabinet trends, styles, and innovations.
- Continuously update product knowledge to confidently address customer inquiries.

**QUALIFICATION **_**MUST **_**HAVE**
- Highschool diploma or GED, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in retail sales in the construction or kitchen cabinet industry
- Previous experience in design
- Knowledge of CAD software is an asset.
- Ability to read and decipher appliance specifications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to actively listen to customer needs.
- Ability to read blueprints and floor plans.
- Strong customer service orientation, focusing on building rapport and long-term relationships with clients.
- Organizational skills to manage customer inquiries and orders/jobs efficiently.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a team player.
