**Quick Stats**
- **Compensation**: $50K annually, based on full time hours and share of pool gratuities

- **Level of responsibility**:reports to Sales & Marketing Manager
- **Focus areas**: All DTC sales (Retail Store, eCommerce & Cider Club), and marketing to drive product sales

**The Job**

Our **Senior** **DTC Sales & Marketing Associate** is accountable for reaching our DTC revenue targets, which includes revenue from our on site Retail Store, ecommerce, and Cider Club. Focus areas:

- Retail Store_
- Frontline work processing customer purchases
- Managing the store float, completing cash outs, and regularly updating information in our POS system
- Merchandising, creating seasonal displays, executing monthly promotions and managing our gift basket program
- Managing store inventory and sourcing goods from local artisans and other suppliers. Creating sales & inventory reports to review with our Sales & Marketing Manager
- Keeping the retail store and storage spaces clean, organized and welcoming.
- eCommerce_
- Cider Club_
- Managing our Cider Club program. Planning, packing orders, and responding to inquiries
- Other Marketing_
- Social media: Managing our main social media account across several platforms. Responding to social media messages, creating content and scheduling posts
- Creating Retail Store signage
- Creating online ads to entice visitors
- Updating website
- Assisting Sales & Marketing Manager with other product-related marketing tasks (eg updating Sales Sheets and Catalogues, designing neck tags, editing mail-outs for seasonal releases)
- Performance is measured against revenue, customer engagement and productivity metrics._

The proposed work week is **9am to 5pm, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, **and the targeted annual compensation is $50K, based on full time hours and a share of pooled gratuities.

Comprehensive training is provided on our policies, sales & marketing protocols and skills, and of course, cider

Sea Cider is a certified organic farm near Victoria BC that grows heirloom apples and produces award-winning cider and sparkling juice. **About You**

You are an aspiring sales & marketing professional interested in the diversity and growth that this role offers. As a recent graduate, you have a blend of analytical, creative and organizational skills and are keen to gain experience. In addition you have:

- **Education**: Serving It Right required; Food Safe an asset. Post secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, sales or related field required
- **Industry experience**: Sales experience an asset. Experience in retail & consumer goods preferred.
- **Communication skills**: excellent written and verbal communication skills, a gift for diplomacy, and a proven track record in problem solving, resolving customer complaints successfully, and avoiding complaints in the first place
- **Technology & equipment**: Highly proficiency using common industry software, and an eagerness to learn new programs and systems.
- **Personal aptitude**: a high degree of professionalism and personal accountability for achieving targets. Curiosity, great listening skills, a gift for collaboration and an openness to feedback. A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” to get the job done and collaborate with colleagues. An interest in learning about cider
- **Work week available**: Able to work full time hours year round, 9am to 5pm, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.
- **Physical requirements**: Able to lift up to 25 kg several times daily (cases of cider, for example) and to work walking and standing up for hours at a time.
