**Accounting Manager**

Reliance Foundry Co. Ltd. is a Surrey-based, rapidly growing marketing and distribution company of metal products. With over 90 years of experience in the cast metals industry, we now serve our Global customer base with a product line of contemporary site furnishing and castings products that now incorporate a range of electronic products and services.

Reporting directly to the Business Controller, the primary goal, and responsibility of this position is to help and support our company’s Accounting Team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- With your leadership capabilities, you will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department from supervising, mentoring and coaching.
- Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce accurate and timely financial reports and statements - Monthly, annual financial reports and statements
- Analyze financial statements and reports to assist the executive team in better business decision making - modelling business propositions, summarizing data, information, and trends.
- Team up for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; estimate periodic tax exposure, assist the Tax Accountants with computation of corporate tax return.
- Calculating and filing monthly and periodic sales tax.
- Ensures compliance with local and federal government requirements.
- Liaise with our Business Controller to present recommendations to management on short
- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
- Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
- Create and prepare financial forecasts and annual budget, interpreting variance analysis.
- Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
- Compliment the executive team in initiating continuous improvement plans for the finance team by championing new accounting projects.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

- 5 years of Full-Cycle Accounting experience
- Has managerial skills, mentored, trained, coached employees
- ERP experience, (Netsuite experience is an asset)

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors Degree and CPA designation
- Proficient in Excel
