**Description**:
Reporting to the Senior Business Partner - Human Resources, the jobholder performs entry-level professional duties and responsibilities in human resources management.

**Departmental mission**:
To provide departments with leadership in order to guarantee a quality workforce and offer a healthy, stimulating and safe work environment, while ensuring equity and respect for others and maintaining excellence in our practices.

**General responsibilities and goals**:
**The jobholder’s main responsibilities are as follows**:

- Provide administrative and professional assistance in the various areas of human resources management such as training, staffing, selection, remuneration, social benefits, labour relations, prevention, and workplace health and safety.
- Carry out research, inquiries, analyses and compilations for the purpose of data updates, on request.
- Participate in staffing activities, including procedures for employee selection, hiring, promotion and reassignment.
- Assist managers in implementing collective agreements as well as human resources policies and standards.
- Participate in developing tools and information systems and assist employees in their use. Compile simulations and studies using human resources management software.
- Develop and update data collection tools to ensure processing of current files and the production of administrative and statistical reports
- Participate in the logistics of preparing projects and their implementation.
- Draft various reports, administrative procedures, recommendations and summaries regarding the jobholder’s activities, on request.
- Participate in various human resources management committees and meetings.
- Process information requests from internal and external clienteles related to human resources management, and draft related correspondence.
- Coordinate and guide the work of support staff, as needed.
- Perform all other related tasks.

**Job requirements**:
The jobholder must have an undergraduate degree (bachelor’s), specialized in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Administration (human resources profile) or in a field deemed relevant. Membership in the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (CRHA) is considered an asset. Experience in a unionized workplace is considered an asset.

The position requires good knowledge of French and English in order to participate in conversations, lead workshops, and participate in working meetings and write brief texts and internal reports. The jobholder must be highly adaptable, autonomous and have a strong team spirit.
