Madorin, Snyder LLP is a full service law firm based in Kitchener, Ontario and serving clients throughout Ontario. Over the last 60 years we have maintained our reputation as specialists in a number of areas of the law including insurance litigation, estate litigation, family and employment law.

We require a legal clerk with experience in Family Law.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- File organization and maintenance of files in Divorcemate;
- Prepare legal documents (drafting pleadings, certificates of financial disclosure and conference briefs) from written, oral and dictated instructions and precedents;
- Coordinate service and filing of documents using One-key and Caselines;
- Prepare evidence for questioning;
- Review of transcripts and compliance with undertakings;
- Draft and prepare bills of cost and cost outlines;
- Assist with preparation for trial;
- Maintain an effective diary system.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- A minimum of five (5) years' experience;
- Proficient with the Family Law Rules;
- Strong computer knowledge in the following programs: Office 365, Divorcemate and LEAP;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients, lawyers and staff;
- Ability to work in a fast paced high volume environment;
- Must be organized, thorough and have high attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
