Automotive Back Parts Associate

**Who You Are**:
An mature and driven team player, **with experience supporting Automotive Technicians in locating and providing the right parts for auto repairs**. You thrive in fast-paced environments, and are familiar with the use of computerized auto parts and service systems.
**What You’ll Do**:
- **Sources and orders automotive parts **for customers though authorized suppliers.
- Processes returns, warranties and castings as required.
- Tests and fills batteries, tests starters.
- Operates the battery filling station as per training received.
- Ensures that retail basics tasks are executed efficiently.
- **Maintains inventory accuracy**.
- Participates in meetings and all training as required and listens to feedback to improve their own abilities.
**What You’ll Need**:
- Knowledge of or experience with mechanical components of automobiles.
- Ability to work effectively with **auto parts ordering systems and computerized work **order systems.
- Basic math and keyboarding skills.
- Strong communication skills, ability to listen carefully and give precise instructions.
- Ability to plan, organize, delegate and follow-up on daily tasks.
- Ability to resolve problems and make decisions.
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks in a team setting, or individually.
- Strong belief in the Canadian Tire values of honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Valid driver’s license for province of employment.
- Safety shoes or boots.
