**Looking for a new opportunity?**

We are seeking to hire a results-driven General Manager to direct and manage our organization’s Sales & Estimating, Project Management & Accounting teams for our Vancouver branch. Based out of Richmond, B.C., this individual will be the quarterback of our British Columbia office and be involved in all aspects of growing and long-term management of our operations in this market.

We are looking for someone who is able to make a long-term commitment to our business and wants an opportunity to grow with us.

**General Manager Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of day-to-day business operations
- Lead a cross-functional team of Sales & Estimating Representatives, Project Managers & Accountants
- Manage the performance and development of staff
- Maintain budgets and operational costs for the local branch
- Create a positive work environment that your staff are excited to come into, be challenged by and contribute to
- Implement, promote and adhere to company values
- Ensure processes are developed, communicated and followed
- Oversee hiring and training in collaboration with Human Recourses
- Provide senior management with regular branch updates
- Travel on a regular basis to various job sites and meetings
- Overnight travel on a quarterly basis to other _Inter-Co _offices in both Canada and the U.S. for management meetings and training

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Post-secondary education from a reputable college or university.
- At least 3 years of construction experience in a managerial role.
- Experience leading cross functional teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem solving capabilities.
- Ability to motivate and lead people.
- Highly organized.
- Strong work ethic.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Must have experience leading a team, devising & implementing a sales or business plan and successfully managing & developing employees.
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to travel overnight for work throughout Canada and the United States.
