Bigfoot Crane Company Inc. is seeking a Yard Assistant to join our team full-time in Agassiz, BC. The role will be responsible for assisting our Yard Superintendent and Operations Team in the storage, shipping and receiving of fleet equipment and maintaining its cleanliness, yard and space optimization and organization, parts ordering, storage, as well as many other daily tasks that help to fuel our organization.

**Responsibilities**
- Cleaning and pressure-washing of crane and hoist fleet
- Cleaning and maintaining fleet vehicles as required
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Small tool maintenance
- Basic generator maintenance
- Picking and packaging orders and preparing for shipment
- Receives incoming shipments
- Strong computer skills
- Unparalleled organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail
- Maintain an immaculate shop storage space and ensure all tools and rigging have up-to-date certifications
- Help technicians with assemblies as required
- Other tasks as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Positive and friendly demeanor
- A forklift certification, or willingness to take our in-house training program
- A can-do attitude and willingness to follow the direction of the Yard Superintendent
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
- Class 5 drivers license and clean abstract
- Reliable transportation to commute to/from work
- Willingness to work at heights
- Willingness to work outside, regardless of rain or shine

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
