We are seeking a BIM Co-op to join our team

**Position Summary**

Working in a collaborative, innovative, fast-paced environment, the Virtual Design & Construction Coordinator - Co-op is responsible for assisting the Digital Team on multiple projects throughout pre-construction and construction phases.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support Pre-Construction BIM team with BIM requirements for tender submissions.
- Assist Digital Construction Coordinator(s) and Pre-Construction team in developing site logistics and construction methodology in Revit.
- Assist the development of company standards to accomplish and improve BIM workflows.
- Create federated Navisworks files, run and publish Navisworks clash detection data for the project team.
- Utilize BIM/ VDC tools and platforms for BIM coordination.
- Be part of a project team working with project managers, superintendents, and engineers on-site.
- Collaborate with VDC Leadership team to build a BIM Execution Plan and VDC implementation strategy.
- Participate in Coordination Meetings (clash meetings), supporting the VDC Coordinator.

**Education & Experience**
- Completion of a degree or diploma training program at a college or technical school specializing in BIM.

**Required Skills**:

- General knowledge of a construction project, including systems, practices, and processes of project management.
- Must have good comprehension of Architectural and Structural drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent organization, time management skills and attention to detail
- BIM-related training or certifications considered an asset (Building Transformations, BuildingSMART)
- Proficiency with Revit.
- Must have a desire to learn new skills software and platforms, such as Bluebeam, Autocad, Navisworks, Procore VDC, Plannerly and Fuzor.
- Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
- Able to work at a fast pace with conflicting deadlines and changing priorities

- May require some on-site visits to project locations with mínimal possibility of exposure to hazardous materials.
