Dishwasher-chateau Nova Yellowknife

The Dishwasher is responsible is responsible for supporting the kitchen and outlets by ensuring the dishware, glassware, silverware, pots and pans are washed in a timely and efficient manner. Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are demonstrated at all times This is a fulltime position that includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Full time hours = 32+ per week.
**Responsibilities and Essential Duties**:

- Follows all established and future Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintains the predetermined supply of clean dishes, glassware, silver, etc., for all outlets hotel.
- Operates the dish machine according to standard.
- Places bus pans in cook's line and cleans dirty dishes as needed.
- Keeps cook line well stocked with china/hot plates.
- Keeps glassware organized at all times, storing dishware in the proper locations.
- Polishes all silver when needed.
- Assists in the breakdown of banquet functions and washes dishes of the functions.
- Maintains a clean kitchen environment by assisting kitchen personnel in following standard cleaning practices.
- Sweeps and mops the entire kitchen floor and dish room.
- Washes all food counters and shelves.
- Washes mats with bleach after each use.
- Monitors trash levels in all cans and removes when needed, including recyclables.
- Monitors dish machine soap, chemical and polish levels and ensures it is operating according to standard. Reports any concerns immediately
- Reports all concerns related to Maintenance, Health and Safety, Security or Suspicious circumstances (including smells/sights and sound) immediately to the appropriate leader.
- Adheres to all Nova standards, including Hygiene and Grooming, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Key Deliverables and Guest Interactions.
