Toronto, Canada Axiom Law Full time

We are currently seeking **Financial Services** **Lawyers** to work with Canada's largest in-house financial and banking institutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drafting, negotiating, planning and/or implementing compliance policies and procedures for regulatory matters and business units.
- Identifying behaviours of concern in the financial services industry, drafting business requirements documents, conducting data analysis.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage complex terms and share with various stakeholders in a simple and effective manner.
- Ability to identify, assess, monitor, manage and report on compliance risk with a deep understanding of banking regulatory requirements.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 4+ years of financial services experience in the financial services industry with an understanding of bank business lines and operation units.
- Experience working with derivatives is considered an asset along with securities law and related regulatory compliance.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating ISDA Derivatives Master Agreements.
- Experience within a corporate or financial institution related to ISDA documentation, a plus.
- Member in good standing with your respective Law Society.
