**Job Information**:
Reporting to the Manager, MHA System Quality and Integration, the Mental Health and Addictions Specialist, Quality Assurance and provides expert advice and makes recommendations on matters related to the best practices of mental health, addiction and family violence services expertise in the field while ensuring compliance to standards, policies and legislation.

The incumbent reviews research, analyses and provides recommendations on issues related to the delivery of services in the NWT. The analyses and recommendations will directly impact health and social services delivery and access to mental health and addiction services throughout NWT.

**Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by**:
Master's Degree in the area of Clinical Social Work, Counselling or Clinical Psychology with a minimum of 5 years of experience in therapeutic counselling environment.

Experience in quantitative statistical analysis and program evaluation in mental health and addictions counselling would be an asset.
