**Mirmil Products **is looking for a **Paint Line Operator**

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Monitor the automated paint line to ensure it is running smoothly and make adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Perform quality checks and make necessary adjustments to paint line equipment as required to ensure proper finish quality and consistency
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems and perform basic maintenance and repair
- Follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment as required
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and proper disposal of waste materials
- Maintain records of paint usage, production output, and equipment maintenance and repairs
- Maintain the integrity of production documentation and reporting

**Key Competencies/Requirements**:

- Demonstrate knowledge of various working materials including paints, lacquers, stains, and sealers
- Ability to accurately read, interpret and follow precise specifications and safety precautions
- Hands-on experience in a millwork finishing environment would be an asset
- Familiarity with WHMIS and associated safety standards
- Familiarity with computerized equipment would be an asset
- Previous experience operating and maintaining automated paint lines in an industrial setting would be an asset
