**Description du poste**
L’agent ou l’agente de soutien à l’établissement, qui rend des comptes au directeur général, est responsable du soutien aux services d’établissement francophone émanant de la direction générale et doit de plus participer à des réunions au nom du Centre et exécuter des tâches administratives pour promouvoir et faire avancer les services aux francophones dispensés par le Centre. L’agent ou l’agente doit également conseiller et soutenir l’équipe francophone qui aide les nouveaux arrivants dans leur parcours d’établissement.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Settlement Support Agent is responsible for supporting Francophone settlement services through the office of the Managing Director as well as attending meetings on behalf of the centre and performing administrative tasks to promote and further the Francophone Services at the SJMNRC. The Agent is also responsible to advise and support the Francophone team who will assist newcomers in the settlement process.

**Tâches de soutien à l’établissement**
- Représenter le Centre et son directeur dans l’ensemble de la province (organismes francophones, conférences Web) au besoin.
- Faire le suivi auprès du directeur après avoir participé à divers comités.
- Coordonner les rendez-vous avec nos parteneriat au sujet d’établissement des nouveau arrivants francophone.
- Contribuer à l’élaboration de documents sur les services d’établissement afin de mieux intégrer les nouveaux arrivants.
- Faire avancer les objectifs de l’équipe consultative sur l’établissement des nouveaux arrivants au moyen de réunions régulières, en assurant la maintenance de la base de données et en allégeant certaines difficultés pour l’équipe
- Soutenir l’équipe francophone dans l’accueil et l’intégration des familles francophones nouvellement arrivées
- Participer à la traduction de documents d’interprétation écrits.
- Préparer les ressources nécessaires à l’intention des nouveaux arrivants francophones.
- Collaborer avec le ou la spécialiste des communications afin de mieux faire connaître le Centre en français.

**Settlement Support Staff Duties**
- Representation of the Centre and the director throughout the Province (Francophone Organisations, Web conferences) when required
- Following up to the Director after the attendance at the different committees
- Coordinate the Francophone Settlement Table
- Contribute to the development of Settlement Services material for newcomer integration
- To further the goals of the newcomer settlement advisory team through regular meetings, maintaining data base and support the team in areas of difficulty
- Support the Francophone Team with reception and integration of Francophone newcomer families
- Participate in translation work on written and interpretive materials
- To prepare the necessary resources for French-speaking newcomers
- Work along the communications specialist to further communication of the centre in the French language
- Other Duties as assigned

**Expected Results**

The expected results for this position are to improve:
1. Connections between the local and provincial organisations and the Center

2. The welcome of new families as well as those already installed in Saint-Jean

3. Connections between Francophone Newcomers and the SJMNRC

4. The content of French translations by participating in the re-reading of posters, press articles, advertisements on social networks

5. Translations and interpretations to newcomers

6. Integration of new Francophone families into the community

7. The general organization within the Center's French-speaking team
