**Summary**

Slegg Building Materials is currently seeking a Full Time-Production team member to join our team. The shifts are Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm. The wage range is $22 - $26.80 per hour, based on experience. Our Extended Health & Dental benefits start after 3 months.

**Responsibilities**
- Produce and manufacture doors using machines and tools
- Comply with all safety requirements
- Use of power tools
- Read work orders over before beginning door production manufacturing to ensure you have all necessary information
- Understand machine processes, paperwork systems and quality standards
- Assist with coordination of workflow within manufacturing plant and supply chain to expedite production
- Record any product used that is not on face of work order
- Advise supervisor of low inventory or other product concerns
- Keep work area organized and free of debris at the end of the day
- Check machining, cutting, and processing tolerances against required standards
- Various other duties as required or directed by management

**Requirements**:

- Detail orientated with disciplined work habits
- Effective written and oral communication skills (Ability to speak, read and write in English)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Good knowledge of basic mathematics
- Physical requirements include:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight

**The Location - **Doorshop in Langford, 1210 Chidlow Connector Rd**

Our Door Shop is conveniently located on a major transit route just off of Sooke Road past the Luxton Fairgrounds. One the same property as our Langford Store, the Doorshop provides the production team with state-of-the-art equipment for manufacturing interior and exterior residential and commercial doors.
