Langford, Canada Slegg Building Materials Full time

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Slegg Building Materials is currently seeking a Full-Time General Labourer to work Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm. The wage range for this role is $23 - $25 per hour, based on experience. **Plus a $2,000 signing bonus.**

**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Receive and stock inventory accordingly.
- Cut material and prepare packages for customers.
- Auditing completed orders for accuracy.
- Move inventory using forklift.
- Minimize scrap and waste.
- Process returns.
- Maintain the general appearance and housekeeping of work areas.
- Perform weekly inventory counts and stock merchandise.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- Valid forklift certification (propane) is an asset.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Experience using a chainsaw is an asset.
- Physical requirements include:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight.
