**Americold is hiring an Experienced Full Time Inventory Control Associate**
- 1st Shift / Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

**Essential Functions**:

- Conducts regular inventory counts via cycle and/or physical inventories, records results and discrepancies, and reports findings to appropriate management team member or customer as needed or as necessary.
- Researches and resolves inventory discrepancies by taking appropriate steps such as researching any previous and/or current customer claims, conducting cycle counts to identify missing product(s), adjusting inventory quantities as necessary or as appropriate, printing correct labels, and handling and/or disposing of damaged inventory as appropriate.
- Updates inventory counts and inventory discrepancies in the appropriate Warehouse Management System (WMS) and/or other various system platforms as necessary in order to maintain efficient inventory flow, including processing any adjustments that are required or needed.
- Assists as needed or as requested with special projects, handling various customer-specific requests, or reporting on any operational errors which impact or may impact inventory performance.
- Ensures that inventory pick patterns are established by partnering with selectors to complete product slottings in order to meet compliance requirements and to optimize shipping efficiencies.
- Performs other inventory-related duties as required or as requested.
- In addition to the duties listed above, employees working at a 3PL location must also process any store returns within directed or required timeframe, and communicate any product recall notifications to appropriate management team member and/or customer as necessary.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- One (1) year warehouse experience, and minimum one (1) year inventory experience.
- Current and valid Forklift operator license.
- Experience or exposure to an electronic or computer management warehouse system preferred.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal and customer service communication skills sufficient to read and interpret shipping invoices and other warehouse documents and partner with customers and other co-workers.
- Demonstrated mathematical skills sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in various reporting tools such as Word or Excel sufficient to create communication documents and basic financial reports. Demonstrated familiarity with the IBM Automated System (AS) 400 system preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems in a fast-paced environment where deadlines and scopes may change regularly while maintaining accuracy. Demonstrated ability to self-start with little or no direction preferred.
