**Position Title**:Director, Business Intelligence

**Reports to**:Vice President, Finance

The Director of Business Intelligence will develop data visualizations to inform strategic decision-making, optimize service delivery, and enhance operational efficiency across our extensive network of outpatient opioid addiction treatment centres, specialty pharmacies, and inpatient addiction treatment facilities.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead the business analytics team to support strategic decision-making, reporting, and project management across the organization.
- Develop and implement analytics strategies that align with CATC’s objectives, focusing on improving service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Manage and mentor two business analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within financial and operational systems.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of analytics and reporting tools to provide actionable insights. This includes working extensively with Power BI or similar business intelligence software to analyze data, generate reports, and support data-driven decision-making processes.
- Leading cross-functional projects that leverage data analytics to address complex business challenges, optimizing processes and driving forward organizational priorities.
- Championing the integration of advanced analytics into all facets of the organization, from patient care strategies to financial modeling and beyond, to inform policy and strategic direction.
- Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of all data reporting functions and analytics platforms, implementing best practices in data management and governance.
- Present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels.

**KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analytics or a related role, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership position.
- Proven expertise in utilizing Power BI or similar business intelligence software for data analysis, visualization, and reporting is essential.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the use of functions, pivot tables, and macros, to manage, analyze, and report data.
- Experience with SQL, data warehouses, and/or reporting platforms to deliver self-serve reporting capability to the organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing staff.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong business analysis skills with a track record of successful requirement gathering and solutions implementation preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare sector considered an asset.
