**Job Title: Child Care Center Director**

**Location**: Brampton, Ontario

**Responsibilities**:

- **Facility Establishment**:

- Oversee the establishment of the daycare center, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure a smooth and timely opening.
- **Program Development**:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that align with Ontario's Early Learning Framework.
- Design and supervise curriculum, ensuring it promotes the holistic development of children.
- **Staff Recruitment and Management**:

- Recruit, hire, and train qualified early childhood educators and support staff.
- Provide ongoing professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills.
- **Parental Communication**:

- Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians through effective communication.
- Organize regular parent-teacher conferences and events to keep families engaged in their child's development.
- **Financial Management**:

- Develop and manage the daycare's budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Oversee billing and fee collection processes.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Stay informed about provincial licensing requirements and ensure the daycare adheres to all regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for licensing purposes.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to create a secure environment for children, staff, and visitors.
- Respond promptly to any health or safety concerns.
- **Community Engagement**:

- Actively engage with the local community, building partnerships with schools, community organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Promote the daycare's positive impact on child development within the community.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in childcare management, including opening and running a daycare facility.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario's childcare regulations and licensing requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- CPR and First Aid certification.

THESE ARE THE VERY EARLY STAGES OF THE DAYCARE AND ABOVE ALL, THE ROLE REQUIRES EXPERTISE IN SETTING UP AND REGISTERING A DAYCARE. THIS IS A PART TIME ROLE THAT WILL LEAD TO FULL TIME ONCE THE DAYCARE IS REGISTERED.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
