Reporting directly to the HSE Manager, this role will be required to take direction and seek input from several managers.

**What You'll Do**:
As the Health and Safety Coordinator, you will be supporting the management and maintenance of the Health, Safety and Environmental systems. Your duties will include:

- Periodically evaluating jobsite, equipment, and practices to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Leading the development of the safety training program along with maintenance of the Site Safety Plans
- Managing HSE Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and subcontractor management programs
- Assist Project Managers in development of project HSE plans and providing support to Regional Managers and General Superintendents
- Assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) along with reviewing/maintaining emergency response plans and procedures
- Develop materials for and conduct new employee health and safety orientations
- Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry and forms management

**What You Bring**:

- 2-5 years of experience in Health and Safety role in the construction industry
- Diploma or Certificate in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent
- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) is an asset
- COR Internal Auditor certification required and willing to be write BC COR exam if certified in another province
- ISO 9000 certificate is an asset
- NHSA schooling or certification is an asset
- Experience with Health & Safety software (Salus, SiteDocs, WorkHub, EHS Insight or Intelex, ISN)
- Reliable vehicle, clean drivers abstract and the ability to obtain security clearance
