We are recruiting for a part-time **Member Service Specialist** to join our **Mission Branch**. The Member Service Specialist (MSS) uncovers and supports sales while delivering exceptional customer service and is responsible for proactively developing positive relationships, and satisfying our members' product and service needs.

**What you’ll do**:

- Greet customers, establish rapport, address service inquiries and customer concerns, and seek opportunities to deepen customer relationships.
- Proactively seek occasions to demonstrate our value proposition, uncover needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Refer customers to other team members and business partners as needed, collaborating to ensure a seamless and rewarding customer experience.
- Handle member personal banking needs through discovery conversations and opening new products such as personal and business profiles, term deposits, and other banking products and services.
- Ensure an exceptional member experience by providing back-up support for other team members.
- Participate in sales meetings and maintain an accurate history of sales and service activity on the customer relationship management system.
- Support and participate in community initiatives.

**What you bring**:

- Previous banking, credit union or advisory sales experience with a strong interest in developing your financial services career.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Capacity and passion for learning, strong team orientation, and a keenness to help others.
- Proficient computer skills.
