**About Zebra Therapy**
Zebra Therapy is a holistic speech-language therapy provider operating in-clinic, in-home and virtually in the GTA and the Golden Horseshoe, with a focus on children 0-12. Our goal as an organization is to make the process of working as a speech-language pathologist as streamlined and easy as possible, with mínimal administrative duties as possible for you as our pathologist.
**About the Position**
A **Speech-Language Pathologist **at Zebra Therapy is responsible for assessing client needs, overseeing a caseload with speech-related disorders and challenges, and providing treatment. We are looking for an SLP to come on-board on **contract, part-time **to staff our clinic on **Saturdays, and if so desired, days/evenings throughout the week.**
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct assessments of prospective clients’ needs for possible treatment
- Planning and executing speech-language therapy treatment
- Periodically providing progress reports to clients
- Recording assessment reports / treatment plans and therapy notes
- Helping to keep workspace clean, tidy and professional-looking
- Collecting payment from clients when administrative help is not available
- Supervising communicative disorders assistants (CDA) when clients can be reasonably accommodated by a CDA
**Requirements**:
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology, from an recognized & accredited institution
- Must be available & willing to work most Saturdays
- Must be a member of CASLPO in good standing
- Must have reliable transportation to our clinic in Dundas, Hamilton, Ontario
- Strong communication skills & fluency in English
**Optional Assets**
- Hanen or similar certifiable extracurricular education
- Fluency in languages other than English
**Commitment**
- Hours & expectations to be mutually agreed upon by Zebra Therapy depending on the availability of the contractor
- Contractors who are looking for more than Saturdays are welcome to apply; however, Saturdays are a mandatory need at this time
**Compensation**
- Varies on length & type of treatment; competitive fee schedule will be provided
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Expected hours: 5 - 30 per week
