**SUMMARY**
The Coordinator provides training, support, access management and account management to all HCC users of the system. This position is the main contact for coordinating and resolving any system issues, configurations, user training and new releases. The Coordinator will support the KO Home and Community Care staff with Information Technology related matters. This position ensures the management of organization’s Privacy & Security Policies and Procedures as well.
The Coordinator will take inventory of all HCC supplies/orders from each community and Thunder Bay location.
**ACCOUNTABILITY**
The cEMR/Inventory Coordinator is directly accountable to the HCC Nurse Supervisor.
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop, implement, and report on engagement strategies to keep stakeholders apprised of progress.
- Provide support to HCC Staff including cEMR Lead with the Information Technology related issues.
- Act as an administrative liaison between software vendor (Mustimuhw Information Solutions), Tribal Council, and communities.
- Monitor the progress of implementation of Mustimuhw Information Solutions in Tribal Council and communities
- Provide project management support to the Health Director and HCC Nurse Supervisor with cEMR implementation in communities by providing written and verbal updates to the Director and Nurse Supervisor on the progress of implementation and any barriers/challenges.
- Work with communities and Mustimuhw Information Solutions, and KNet (Information Technology Department) to troubleshoot challenges or barriers arising in the implementation or ongoing use of Mustimuhw.
- Provide ongoing support to communities after Mustimuhw is implemented and support sustainability.
- Support the Nurse Supervisor with monitoring the budget and the cEMR licensing agreements.
- Develop service contracts, data sharing agreements, data migration and system integration.
- Support Privacy and Security Policies development and implementation, privacy impact assessment, data sharing agreement and business continuity plans.
- Attend meetings or training (online or in-person) assigned by the Health Director and HCC Nurse Supervisor.
- Manage or create data base for inventory of all HCC supplies and orders for communities and Thunder Bay site.
- Must be willing to go shopping for HCC program that includes shipping, packing and distributing supplies or orders.
- Inventory of all HCC vehicles and maintenance service due dates.
- Assist with other health information-related activities as required.

**COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- University degree, college diploma or certification in a health, health information, or information technology field or related experience.
- 2 years direct work experience supporting new project initiatives, including all aspects of process development, implementation, and execution.
- Experience working with electronic health systems and/or case management software; experience with Mustimuhw Information Solutions (MIS) and OSCAR is an asset.
- Understanding of privacy legislation and how it applies in First Nations communities
- Understanding of First Nations health systems
- Experience working independently and in a team-orientated, collaborative environment is essential
- Excellent leadership, management, motivation, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, organize and prioritize workload, provide estimates of time and resources required to complete assignments,
- Ability to work well under pressure and under limited supervision
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be willing and able to travel (northern, rural and urban areas).
- Must have a valid Drivers License.
