Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader

Edmonton, Canada MD Lawncare and Landscaping Full time

Responsibilities:

- Lead a crew of groundskeepers and tree care specialists in various outdoor maintenance tasks.
- Oversee and participate in the maintenance and care of gardens, lawns, and trees.
- Coordinate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants.
- Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing.
- Keep all beds weed free

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in groundskeeping or tree care.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a crew.
- Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care.
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients.

Note: This position require a valid driver's license and the ability to operate company vehicles or machinery.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 4 years (preferred)
