**Temporary Full-Time Position (May 2023 to approximately June 2024)**

The Environmental Support Services Advisor (ESS Advisor) provides administrative support to the Environmental Support Services Department as well as, under the direction of the Manager of Materials Management, Environmental and Linen Services, provides general management of day-to-day activities of the department and counsel to the Health Centre management team regarding ESS matters.
**Basic Requirements**
- College Diploma in Business or Office Administration.
- Minimum two years of administrative experience.
- Knowledge and experience of acquisitions and the procurement of goods and services.
- Skill in negotiating and administering external vendor contracts.
- Knowledge of the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act (BPSAA).
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Skill in writing concise, logical, grammatically correct business correspondence and reports.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task while providing consistent high-quality work.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to continually re-prioritize workload.
- Ability to adapt to continually changing priorities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to perform work assignments with mínimal supervision and good judgment.
- Demonstrated professionalism, tact, and diplomacy in interactions with others.
- Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, performance levels, disciplinary history, and positive work references.
- Ability to work in a manner that exemplifies the core values of the West Parry Sound Health Centre: _Compassion, Accountability, Rights and Responsibilities, Excellence, and Safety_.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a health care environment.
**Compensation & Benefits**
$65,000 per annum to start
+ Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)
+ 6% vacation pay and 13% pay in lieu of fringe benefits (9% if enrolled in HOOPP)
