**About the role**:
The Pre-Roll Technician plays a key role in producing pre-rolls that adhere to regulatory compliance, health and safety protocols, environmental standards, brand guidelines, and customer experience expectations. In this position, you will be responsible for daily pre-roll production and packaging tasks. Success in this role requires strong communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, commitment to health and safety, and effective time management to support the efficiency of the pre-roll department.

**Duties and responsibilities (include and are not limited to)**:

- Operate and maintain pre-roll manufacturing equipment, including loading/unloading materials and ensuring proper assembly and operation.
- Prepare, organize, and verify the quality and quantity of materials required for production.
- Perform quality checks during production and conduct in-process and post-process quality assurance sampling to meet specifications and client expectations.
- Package, label, and organize finished pre-rolls according to specifications.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Production Practices (GPP).
- Follow health and safety requirements to maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized production environment.
- Ensure compliance with Health Canada regulations, WorkSafe BC guidelines, product tracking/security, and inventory accuracy.
- Perform minor troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Maintain the pre-roll production area, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with the Sanitation Plan, SOPs, and Good Production Practices (GPP).
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production progress, challenges, and best practices.
- Work closely with QA to ensure all processes meet quality assurance requirements.
- Maintain strict and accurate inventory records for raw materials, chemicals, and equipment.
- Identify and share best practices to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Potential for ad hoc projects.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Qualifications/competencies**:

- High school diploma (required)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or similar
- Experience in pre-roll production with a Licensed Producer would be nice to have
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Must be able to follow instructions and react quickly even in high stress environments
- Effective time management skills with an ability to multi-task efficiently
- Capacity for critical thinking
- Self-motivated and reliable
- An interest in continuous improvement and making things safer and more efficient
- Must have the ability to maintain and pass an RCMP criminal record check and obtain security clearance.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
