CNC Machine Operator

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate multiple CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges to inspect machined parts for conformance to specifications
- Make adjustments to machine settings to ensure proper dimensions and finishes of machined parts
- Quality conscious at all times
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in operating CNC machines (Haas and Flex) and understanding of CNC programming
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques
- Familiarity with Mastercam and ability to advance learning
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments accurately
- Can lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the duration of the shift
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can work without supervision
- Has completed high school and can write and communicate effectively in English
- Forklift experience an asset

Hours of work per Averaging Agreement totaling 40 hrs/week. No weekends or statutory holidays.

**Salary**: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
