The work of Good Shepherd is based on a fundamental belief in providing hope and restoring dignity to the most vulnerable members of our community. Our services include emergency food, transitional housing and education for homeless and street-involved youth; hospice palliative care; community mental health programs; and supportive housing programs. We are committed to integrating Harm Reduction practices into our programs and to prioritizing the rights, dignity, and choices of those who use substances. By integrating a Harm Reduction framework at Good Shepherd, we can decrease barriers to service and better support some of our community's most marginalized members.

This opportunity is with our Good Shepherd - **Recruitment Specialist to join our People and Culture team.**

**What You'll Bring to Our Team**
- Post-secondary education in a related field and previous experience in an in a similar capacity
- 3 - 5 years of progressive experience
- Demonstrated work ethic in leadership and role modelling of behaviours that demonstrates the Mission, Vision and Values of Good Shepherd Centres
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Applicant Pro
- Provide service in a dignified and respectful manner that reflects the charism of Good Shepherd Centres and which integrates anti-oppression/anti-racism frameworks
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication
- Experience managing Outlook Calendar or similar scheduling tools
- High level of organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, including scheduling, project management, and event planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make sound decisions quickly, especially in the executive's absence
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure
- The ability to be responsive to the needs of others with a respectful and compassionate demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication, computer, interpersonal and organizational skills
- To observe all Good Shepherd health and safety rules and regulations and to work in a manner that minimizes risk to clients, staff and others as well as to the property of the Good Shepherd Centres.
