**Job Summary**:
Lawson Health Research Institute (Lawson) is the research institute of London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London. As one of Canada’s top ten research institutes, we are committed to furthering scientific knowledge to advance health care around the world.

**Rate of Pay**: Commensurate with experience

**Hours of Work**: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

**Duration**: 12 months, renewable on annual basis

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a recognized Master’s degree in a relevant and/or related field
- Minimum of (1) year recent and relevant clinical research experience, preferably with experience confidentially handling patient data
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, be able to work under pressure, and have the flexibility to adjust to changing schedules and deadlines
- Effective communication skills to foster a respectful, inclusive and collaborative environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient
- and family-centred care
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
- Able to implement and coordinate aspects a small clinical study including facilitation of study activation, coordination with team members, data and sample collection, and assistance with data analysis
- Excellent writing and presentation skills for grant and REB protocol preparation and for updates on study results and progress
- Able to organize workload and manage daily competing priorities in a health care environment
- Act as central point of communication for study management, manage data and specimen collection
- Working knowledge, or ideally prior experience, in Human Research Ethics, Tri-council policy, Good Clinical Practices, Health Canada and FDA regulations an asset

**Immunization Requirements**:
Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to:

- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis;
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step);
- Provide proof of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health’s current definition of being fully vaccinated
