**Our Next Payroll Clerk**

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Payroll Clerk to join our Finance Team This role will be responsible for managing payroll and reporting for our North American entities. This is a part time role (~20 hours per week), working from our Saskatoon office.

**Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities**
- **Timesheets and Payroll**
- Review and post timesheets in North America on a weekly basis in Deltek.
- Timely preparation of payroll information into Ceridian Powerpay for Canadian employees on a bi-weekly basis for approval.
- Timely preparation of payroll information to local Bookkeepers for USA employees on a bi-weekly basis for approval.
- Prepare monthly (manual) overtime calculations and re-calculations for all employees.
- Perform payroll year-end processes.
- Create payroll reports for management
- **Personnel Records**
- Maintain accurate employee files and personal information, employment income, garnishments, and records of employment.
- Maintain employee benefits allotment in Deltek.
- **Administration and Reporting**
- Answer payroll related inquiries from employees.
- Investigate any issues relating to employee reporting and information in Deltek.
- Complete monthly operations reporting (including Billed Efficiency and Utilization Rate).
- Assist with month-end reporting as required.

**Job Requirements**

- Attention to detail.
- Competent written and oral communication skills.
- Competence in Canadian & provincial payroll laws. US payroll knowledge would be considered an asset.
- Strong skills in the areas of time management, planning, and organizing.
- Demonstrate an ability to competently use their initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise.
