ONE CARE Home & Community Support Services is a community based, charitable, Not-For-Profit health organization providing supportive care to families in Huron and Perth Counties as well as the surrounding area.

**We are currently seeking a temporary part-time Volunteer Coordinator.**

We are looking for a passionate and results driven individual to join our team in this temporary contract position. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the recruitment of volunteers and for planning and coordinating their orientation, education, training including Health & Safety, special events and activities. The Volunteer Coordinator oversees all volunteer resources to assist in the delivery of ONE CARE's programs and services. This includes providing guidance, support, resources, and tools to ONE CARE employees who supervise volunteers. This is a part-time position. The Volunteer Coordinator position will be based out of our Stratford office and is for the Stratford and North Huron area.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- University or college diploma in a related human services, health care or business field from a recognized educational institution.
- A Volunteer Management Certificate or equivalent working with community volunteers and seniors is preferred.
- Demonstrated willingness to be adaptable, build relationships, and focus on client needs is required to be successful in this role.
- Demonstrated problem solving, ability to think strategically, assess situations, set priorities, and decision making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficient in the use of computers and office equipment (Word, Excel, Microsoft Office).
