**Summary**

The position of Facility Services Technician is an onsite position to steward the workplace experience in a fast-paced technology company; to maintain high customer service standards while keeping an efficient office, and handle the shipping and receiving operations. Someone with outstanding follow-up skills, high attention to detail, the ability to prioritize, is comfortable working with a diverse population at every level of the organization, and is flexible to changing priorities will succeed in this role.

This is an exciting time to join the team that is responsible for ensuring our hybrid work environment efficiently and effectively meets the needs of all. Our Facility Services Technician works closely with our Workplace Experience Coordinator to make this happen.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

**Facilities Services**
- Proactively handle and document the needs for repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures
- Liaison with property management team
- Perform handy person duties including but not limited to installation of whiteboards & corkboards, hanging pictures, removal & installation of keyboard trays, and minor furniture rearrangement & repair
- Maintain, support, and back up security efforts and badge allocation for the site
- Maintain and support safety/environmental compliance, policies and procedures for the site
- Lab infrastructure support and coordination
- Engage relationships with vendors as necessary - ie. electricians, plumbers, etc.
- Minor custodial services as needed
- Internal movement of packages, boxes and furniture
- Assist with employee onboarding, and on and offsite event set up/tear down
- Post and engage through CONNECT, NETGEAR's social platform
- Ad Hoc project work as required

**Shipping & Receiving**
- Responsible for all shipments and receiving of all goods, and to maintain shipping materials/supplies
- Maintain the shipping area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
- Battery certification for shipping (training available)

**Supervisory Responsibilities**

None

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of related experience
- Level II First Aid (training available)
- MS Office proficiency
- Oracle skills a plus
- Strong work ethic, the ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication and social skills
- Proven technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to details
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Self-motivated and eager to work in a constantly evolving environment
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Present a professional image in appearance, words, and actions
