Our Makeup

Union is made up of two main divisions: our commercial department, which has offices in Montreal, Quebec, and Florida. We design and implement floor-to-ceiling lighting packages for clients in retail, hospitality, real estate, and beyond, outfitting their offices and industrial spaces with solutions that are as functional as they are aesthetic.

Our retail and e-commerce departments work within the Carre Union Décor Center, perfectly situated on Decarie Boulevard in Montreal.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about marketing and eager to grow their skills in a collaborative environment. You will assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to enhance our brand presence, drive customer engagement, and collaborate with influencers to expand our reach.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in creating compelling content for marketing materials, websites, blogs, and social media posts.

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.

Coordinate with the design team to produce high-quality graphics and visuals for marketing purposes.

Help maintain and update the company website and social media platforms.

Collaborate with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts align with sales objectives.

Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas for marketing initiatives.

Monitor and respond to customer feedback on social media channels and online platforms.

Identify, engage, and build relationships with social media influencers and bloggers to promote our brand.

Coordinate influencer partnerships, including product seeding, content creation, and performance tracking.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Both English and French.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a basic understanding of digital marketing tools.

Experience with social media platforms and content management systems.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics.

Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.

Interest or experience in influencer marketing and a keen understanding of social media trends and influencer dynamics.

Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

Knowledge of SEO and SEM practices.

Previous experience in coordinating influencer partnerships or social media collaborations.
