**How you will contribute as part of the TRCA team**:
The Junior Program Assistant will provide administrative and outreach support to team members in community engagement and on-the-ground initiatives as part of the Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Program (SNAP).

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings on platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Go-To-Meeting. Provide basic level support in records keeping and database management, and other administrative tasks.
- Support the development of online and in-person program preparation and delivery; helping to deliver online and in-person workshops for community members and local stakeholders.
- Supporting data entry of information of data, conducting community research surveys, assisting with online research activities.
- Assist with making calls and addressing program inquiries from members of the public.
- Provide insights to support the improvement of community engagement methods, promoting the program in innovative ways, based on insight gained by interacting with the community.
- Attendance at/participation in events/workshops/activities is required in order to actively promote and support events and activities. This may include some weekends and evenings.

**What will you need to succeed**:
Education (degree/diploma/certifications)
- Minimum of secondary school diploma or equivalent education.

Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Previous experience in customer service or working with the public.

Knowledge/Skill/Ability
- Customer service skills, ability to present oneself professionally while representing TRCA, when interacting with the public.
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Basic administrative skills.
- Ability to work as a team and take initiative.
- Good communications skills, both oral and written.
- Research skills considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license considered an asset.
