**About Us**: Thrive Services Centre is a private modern Non-Hospital Surgical Facility. We are equipped to provide dental and medical procedures at any sedation level in a comforting environment. The experience is a private, quiet, and professional setting. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sterilization Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.

**Position Overview**:As a Sterilization Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sterilization of dental/medical equipment and instruments, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of our healthcare facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to adhering to sterilization protocols will be essential in helping us maintain our high standards of patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Properly clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental/medical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and equipment.
- Assemble and package sterilized instruments and equipment for use in various dental/medical procedures.
- Ensure compliance with sterilization and infection control protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in the inventory management of sterilization supplies
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with the turnover of OR rooms, ensuring they are cleaned and prepared for incoming patients.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and medical uniforms.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as checking patients in, filing, data entry, and other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures meticulously.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Positive attitude
- Strong communication skills.

**Schedule**:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

Shifts may vary, but day shifts only

Additional hours may be available based on workload and scheduling needs.
