Avenue Cannabis in West Vancouver is currently seeking a Store Manager to effectively coordinate and facilitate transactions at our retail store while managing the sales team. Located by the West Vancouver seawall and near the beach, our professionally designed store is a lovely place to work and a great career opportunity in the cannabis industry for a seasoned professional.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with ownership to ensure the achievement of defined objectives.
- Effectively manage, supervise, and direct the activities of all assigned staff, including making recommendations regarding hiring, disciplining, terminating, and promoting employees.
- Supervise and manage merchandising activities and planned inventory.
- Assist in coordinating with vendors and exploring direct delivery opportunities.
- Coordinate and facilitate all transactions and operational activities.
- Implement and enforce operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in accordance with the company's mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and encourage staff to follow best practices.
- Inspire and motivate staff to consistently deliver the highest level of customer service and exceptional experiences.
- Regularly evaluate employee performance, maintain accurate employee records and certifications.
- Promote ongoing staff education on medical and recreational cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
- Safeguard the safety and satisfaction of both customers and employees.
- Contribute to the development of budgets and sales forecasts.
- Establish effective communication channels with law enforcement, vendors, landlords, and the local community as necessary.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all strains and products in store inventory, as well as industrywide product trends.
- Fulfill staffing requirements and coordinate employee schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Possession of a bachelor's degree and/or three to five years of management experience.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the cannabis retail sector.
- Preferably, a background in retail management.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale systems, electronic schedulers, and inventory control software.
- Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Self-driven and motivated.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Successful completion of all mandatory background checks.

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
